MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) - The Minsk City Department of the Emergencies Ministry has organized an excursion for children from China, BelTA learned from the department.

A delegation from the Chinese Ministry of Public Security and children of the ministry’s personnel killed in the line of duty visited the Minsk City Department on 30 July. "The rescuers demonstrated the gear and equipment that are currently in service, told them about their working days. After the excursion everyone had a possibility to try on firefighting uniforms and test a firefighting hose,” the department said.

The guests from China also visited the Museum of Fire to learn more about the history of the Belarusian firefighting service and see different fire-damaged objects brought from fire scenes.
