Meetups, art, and wish maps: VIDEOBEL.BY marks its birthday

Meetups, art, and wish maps: VIDEOBEL.BY marks its birthday

MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – The VIDEOBEL.BY multimedia portal marked its birthday in an atmosphere of open communication and creative discovery. Guests were welcomed at the Naif Arts Museum, where the festive program combined conversations about journalism, an introduction to painting, and a master class, a BelTA correspondent reports.

That day, the museum turned into a gathering spot for media professionals, journalists, and bloggers. Guests mingled, examined the exhibits, and exchanged impressions. Anyone interested could join a free guided tour and discover more about naive art, a movement whose artists offer their own vision of the world, unbound by academic rules.

The program continued with creative meetups featuring TV presenters Tatiana Rudakovskaya and Viktoria Senkevich. The conversation centered on the profession, working in front of the camera, journalistic ethics, and the experience of different generations. Participants got to hear real stories from the world of television and debate what is shifting in journalism and what never changes. “We can offer young journalists wisdom and experience, and they teach us boldness,” Tatiana Rudakovskaya noted.

Personal stories and impressions from visitors set a special tone. Some found the museum an unexpected discovery; others saw sincerity and a special vitality in the artists’ works. A guest from Russia, Nikolai, said he was moved by the paintings’ warmth and spontaneity. Participant Yelena noted that such gatherings open doors to culture and remind us to preserve our heritage.

Another part of the celebration was a master class on creating wish maps. Guests were able to step away from everyday concerns, work with their own ideas and plans, and take home the result of the creative session.

The organizers explained their choice of venue by a symbolic similarity: naive art invites people to see the world in their own way, while VIDEOBEL.BY opens new opportunities for discovering Belarusian content and for communication. In the end, the portal’s birthday became not only an occasion to take stock but also a chance to meet in person, exchange impressions, and spend time in an unusual cultural space.
