Maksim Nedasekau wins bronze at IAAF Diamond League in Rome

MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Belarusian high jumper Maksim Nedasekau has won bronze at the IAAF Diamond League event in Rome, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian cleared 2.28m on his best try. Gold went to Ukraine’s Bohdan Bondarenko (2.31m). Silver was collected by Majd Eddin Ghazal of Syria (2.28m with fewer tries).

Belarusian javelin thrower Tatsiana Khaladovich placed 8th with her best attempt of 61.32m.

Belarusian long jumper Nastassia Mironchyk-Ivanova settled for the seventh place with 6.59m.

Maksim Nedasekau, Tatsiana Khaladovich and Nastassia Mironchyk-Ivanova make part of Team Belarus at the 2nd European Games in Minsk.
