Krakow-Warsaw-Grodno rail service to be launched on 4 September

MINSK, 2 September (BelTA) — Belarusian Railways and the Polish company PKP Intercity will launch a Krakow-Warsaw-Grodno rail service on 4 September, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian Railways.

Railway tickets are already available for purchase. The route will be serviced by a Polish train that will run daily between Grodno and Krakow via Warsaw, Bialystok and Kuznica. The train will depart from Grodno at 15:32 to make a stop in Bialystok at 17:08, another one at the Warsaw Central Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna) at 20:15, and finally arrive in Krakow at 23:04.

On the way back, it will depart from Krakow at 4:46, make a stop in Warsaw at 7:36, in Bialystok at 10:30, and reach Grodno at 14:22.

The price of a one-way ticket to Kuznica is Br13.33, to Bialystok Br16.39, to Warsaw Br34.31, and to Krakow Br46.77.

The project aims to enhance the competitive ability and appeal of rail passenger service, better satisfy the demand for international rail travel, and promote the development of tourist routes, the press service added.
