MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – The 2015 IBU Youth/Junior World Championship was officially brought to a conclusion with a closing ceremony at Belarus’ Raubichi on 24 February. The seven-day competitions were attended by 25,329 supporters, BelTA learnt from the organizing committee of the sport forum.

The competitions among youth (under 19) and junior (under 21) athletes were held on 18-24 February. The National Winter Olympic Center Raubichi hosted 16 medal events in Individual, Sprint, Pursuit and Relay. Russia topped the medal table with five gold, four silver and three bronze medals. Belarus placed fifth with two gold medals.
