First Eurovision 2019 rehearsals kick off in Tel Aviv

MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) – First rehearsals of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest participants have kicked off in Tel Aviv, BelTA learned from the website of the contest.

Participants from 41 countries will take to the stage during the rehearsals at Expo Tel Aviv. Every participants has two scheduled rehearsals. On 4 May, nine performers from the first semifinal will hold their first rehearsals, including the official representative of Belarus ZENA. Each rehearsal lasts 30 minutes, followed by a 20-minute interview.

Belarus is participating in Europe’s most popular song show for the 16th time. ZENA with the song “Like It” will perform 8th in the first semifinal on 14 May. The second semifinal is scheduled for 16 May, the final will be held on 18 May. The Belarus 1 TV channel and the international satellite TV channel Belarus 24 of the Belteleradiocompany national broadcaster will broadcast the show live.

Belteleradiocompany is responsible for preparing the participant from Belarus for the Eurovision Song Contest as Belarus' only member of the European Broadcasting Union.
