MINSK, 25 December (BelTA) – A military-style residence of Father Frost opened at the Stalin Line Historic and Cultural Complex on 25 December. The residence will stay open until 4 January, the administration of the complex told BelTA.
Father Frost, designated a Tank General for the occasion, arrived at his headquarters aboard a Soviet-era T-50 light tank. “Visitors can look forward to a variety of outdoor activities and entertainment,” explained the organizers. “Before meeting General Father Frost, they must prove their readiness by passing impromptu New Year’s drills. Those who successfully complete the tests will be admitted to his headquarters for a personal meeting.”
Participants will receive special cards granting access to explore the residence’s secret facilities. The bravest and quickest-witted guests will be rewarded with a personal audience with Father Frost, where they can chat, recite a poem, take photos, receive personalized wishes, and a healthy dose of New Year’s spirit.
“A distinctive feature of the headquarters is a ‘wish capsule’ made from a decommissioned artillery shell,” the organizers said. “Make a wish for the coming year, place it inside, and it is sure to come true.” Guests are also invited to enjoy pancakes and tea at the campfire café and warm themselves by the fire.
The residence is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On 31 December, hours will be 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and on 1 January, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
