Fanny's Journey wins main award at Listapadzik film festival

MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – Fanny’s Journey, a movie by Lola Doillon (France), was awarded Golden Listapadzik, the main prize of the Listapadzik children and youth film competition, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk International Film Festival Listapad.

Sareh Nour Mousavi received an award for Best Young Actor for Breath, a picture by Narges Abyar (Iran). The latter got a special jury award for Best Directing.

Hector Garcia won the award for Best Adult Actor in Children’s Film (director Henry Rincon, Colombia).

The Audience Award went to Andreas Dresen’s Timm Thaler (Germany).

The Listapadzik film competition took place from 4 to 7 November and featured ten pictures by film makers from Iran, France, Germany, Colombia, and other countries.

The 24th edition of the Minsk International Film Festival Listapad is taking place from 3 to 10 November under the slogan Truth, Love, and Beauty. Listapad has been established by the Belarusian Culture Ministry and the Minsk City Hall in cooperation with the National TV and Radio Company, the National Film Studio Belarusfilm, and the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers. The festival is organized by the visual and performing arts center ART Corporation.
