ABU-DHABI, 31 October (BelTA) – Etihad Airways plans to include a visit to Belarus in its tourist package, Belarus’ Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Roman Golovchenko told reporters, BelTA has learned.

“The company is planning to include tours to Belarus in its tourist package next year. The company has a travel agency, and they will offer a trip to Belarus as part of a package offer. Relevant ads will be posted on the airline’s flights, and in the media,” the diplomat said.

He added that a large group of tourism specialists, representatives of large state companies and ministries of the U.A.E. has recently visited Belarus. The visit was organized in partnership with Etihad Airways. Within a few days, the delegation studied the tourism infrastructure of Belarus, from accommodation to the objects that will be recommended for visiting.

Ambassador Roman Golovchenko recalled that Belarus canceled short-term entry visas for U.A.E. nationals some time ago. “This helps increase the number of Emirati visitors to Belarus. We are taking steps to increase this flow,” he said.
