Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia to open in Minsk

MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) - Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia will open in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Culture Ministry.

Days of Spiritual Culture have a versatile program. The first events will take place on 25-26 June. The opening ceremony will take place at the House of Moscow on 25 June. It will include an exhibition of children’s drawings Russia’s Spirit, a presentation of the project Voronezh Is the 2015 Commonwealth Capital of Culture.

Partaking in the opening ceremony will be Belarusian First Deputy Culture Minister Irina Driga and Russian Deputy Culture Minister Alla Manilova. Plans have been made to sign a program of cooperation between the ministries till 2017. The event will be crowned by a concert of the Otrada girls’ chorus of St. Nicholas Chernoostrovsky Convent.

The conference Russia-Belarus. Development Prospects of Pilgrimage and Religious Tourism will take place at the House of Moscow on 26 June.

The Belarusian State Philharmonic will host concerts of the orchestra of national instruments and soloists Terema (29 June) and soloist of Mariinsky Theater, People’s Artist of Russia Vasily Gerello (30 June). On 30 June visitors of the House of Moscow will enjoy a concert of the youth chamber orchestra Grad-Quartet. The department of culture of Bryansk Oblast will present the festival Slavonic Unity 2015 in the town of Loyev, Gomel Oblast. Apart from Minsk, the Otrada girls’ chorus of St. Nicholas Chernoostrovsky Convent will perform in Mogilev.
