Days of Belarusian Education due in Vietnam in 2019

MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – The Days of Belarusian Education will be held in Vietnam in 2019. The corresponding agreement was reached during the meeting of Belarus’ Ambassador to Vietnam Vladimir Goshin with Pham Quang Hung, Director General of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam.

The parties also discussed recuperation of Vietnamese children in Belarus at the invitation of the Belarusian president. This humanitarian project was discussed in detail.

Top on the agenda were educational partnerships, including joint events aimed to expand contacts between universities and friendly ties between the two countries.

“Apart from that, the parties shared views on how to actualize the intergovernmental cooperation agreement on education. It is a fundamental document that reflects the joint vision of cooperation and spells out mechanisms of arranging student exchanges,” the embassy informed.
