MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Vladimir Chepelin of Belarus finished third in the Men’s Individual 20K at IBU Cup 5 in Arber, Germany, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian covered the distance in 54:34.8 with two penalties. Jean-Guillaume Beatrix of France won the race in 53:31.5. Second was Russia’s Piotr Pashchenko, 32.8 seconds behind the winner.

The Women 15K Individual at BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 5 in Ruhpolding is scheduled to take place later on 11 January. Belarus will be presented by Darya Domracheva, Irina Krivko, Nadezhda Skardino, Dinara Alimbekova and Darya Yurkevich.
