MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – Belarusian shot-putter Alena Dubitskaya won bronze at the IAAF Diamond League in Doha, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian finished third with her 18.90m attempt, behind Michelle Carter of the United Stated (19.32m) and Hungary’s Anita Marton (18.99m).

Yulia Leontyuk of Belarus finished fourth, with 18.22m.

The IAAF Diamond League second stage will take place in Shanghai on 13 May. The Diamond League is one of the most prestigious tournaments that will be held in 12 stages this year. Its two finals are scheduled for 24 August (Zurich) and 1 September (Brussels).

London will host the 2017 IAAF World Championships on 4-13 August.
