Big Crystal Globe winner Darya Domracheva to arrive to a warm welcome in Minsk on 1 April

SMOLEVICHI DISTRICT, 1 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ leading biathlete, three-time Olympic champion and two-time world champion Darya Domracheva will arrive in Minsk on 1 April after her victory in the 2014-2015 World Cup overall standings. Her fans, friends and relatives, other members of the national women's biathlon team, Belarusian high sports officials, and media have gathered at Minsk National Airport to welcome her, BelTA has learned.

Big Crystal Globe winner Darya Domracheva to arrive to a warm welcome in Minsk Darya Domracheva’s fans gathered at Minsk National Airport with banners welcoming her home, congratulating her on the victory, and thanking her for the moments of happiness she had given to them.

Belarus’ Sports and Tourism Minister Alexander Shamko, First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Maxim Ryzhenkov, and Chairman of the Belarusian Biathlon Federation Valery Vakulchik will greet Darya Domracheva with flowers. The Big Crystal Globe winner will be welcomed home with the traditional bread and salt.
