MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – Letters of commendation from the Belarusian president were given to journalists of Belarusian mass media outlets. Alexander Lukashenko signed corresponding Executive Order No. 196рп on 11 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

In recognition of the professional excellence, a big personal contribution to the information coverage of major events in the social, economic and political life of the country the president’s letters of commendation were given to Editor of the Social Issues Department of the Sovetskaya Belorussiya Newspaper Lyudmila Gabasova, Deputy Director for Information Broadcasting Directorate of the ONT TV channel Anatoly Zankovich, and head of the department at BelTA News Agency Vladimir Matveyev.
