Belovezhskaya Pushcha among National Geographic’s best trips for 2020

MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Belovezhskaya Pushcha made it into the list of 25 best trips to take in 2020 by National Geographic, BelTA learned from the website of the TV channel.

National Geographic invites tourists to visit one of Europe’s last true wild places. The park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, spans a vast territory and creates an oasis of wilderness in the middle of a crowded continent. The forest is home to the largest free-roaming population of the European bison, numerous bird and mammal species. National Geographic advises to visit Belovezhskaya Pushcha in September-October.

The top 25 places to visit in 2020 included Guizhou Province in China, Tohoku in Japan, National Blue Trail in Hungary, Telc in Czechia, Magdalen Islands in Canada, Fort Kochi in India, Zakouma National Park in Chad, Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, Maldives, Tasmania in Australia, Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia, and others.
