Belarusian education system on display in Syria, Lebanon

MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Days of Belarusian Education are underway in Damascus and Beirut on 18-23 March, BelTA learned from the press center of the Belarusian Education Ministry.

A delegation of representatives of Belarusian universities has gone to Syria and Lebanon to organize exhibitions about the Belarusian education system at the University of Damascus and the Arts, Sciences and Technology University in Lebanon. The delegation held bilateral meetings with the rectors of the two universities.

“The Belarusian delegation is also set to visit the Education Ministries of Syria and Lebanon, hold talks with the leadership of the ministries to discuss the development of cooperation in the higher, post-graduate and vocational education,” the press center said.

While in Lebanon, the Belarusian delegation is expected to meet with representatives of the Association of Alumni of Soviet (Belarusian) Universities.
