Belarusian companies win CIS 2019 quality excellence prizes

MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Laureates and winners of the CIS quality excellence prizes 2019 have been determined. The list is specified by the relevant resolution of the CIS Economic Council of 13 March, the press service of the State Standardization Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

The Belarusian steel mill BMZ, the Baranovichi-based company OAO Torgmash, and OAO Agrokombinat Dzerzhinskiy have been awarded laureate titles. OAO Novogrudok Gas Equipment Plant has been recognized as a diploma winner.

The prestigious awards went to the Belarusian companies in recognition of the high quality and the competitive ability of their products. The awards also praise the companies’ contribution to creating a high reputation of CIS producers on the CIS market and beyond. The winners also include companies from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

The CIS quality excellence prizes are bestowed every two years in recognition of considerable accomplishments in the area of quality of products (services), in the area of product safety, and in the area of introduction of highly effective management standards.
