MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) - Two officers of the Sports Committee of the Armed Forces of Belarus have conquered Elbrus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Defense Ministry.
As part of an international group of servicemen from Russia, Iran, Zimbabwe, and Morocco, Kirill Chupris and Yevgeny Sevostyanov completed the ascent of Mount Elbrus. They conquered the height of 5,100 meters in difficult weather conditions.
Prior to the expedition, representatives of the Sports Committee completed a specialized course at the Terskol mountain training and survival center.
