Belarus top team medal table at UIPM 2019 Pentathlon World Championships

MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes topped the team medal table at the UIPM 2019 Pentathlon World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, BelTA has learned.

Belarus clinched three medals. Volha Silkina graced the podium in the individual event. Volha Silkina together with Anastasiya Prokopenko and Iryna Prasiantsova were named champions in the women’s team event. Bronze in team-mix relay was collected by Anastasiya Prokopenko and Ilya Palazkov.

The UIPM 2020 Pentathlon World Championships will take place in Xiamen, China. Minsk will host the sport event in 2021.
