MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – Belarus will take part in the Education World Forum in London. The matter was on the agenda of the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Kingdom Sergei Aleinik and Minister of State at the UK Department for Education Robert Goodwill, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The sides discussed ways to step up bilateral cooperation in education and academic research. They mapped out a number of measures to develop cooperation, including at the Education World Forum due in London from 21 to 24 January 2018, the press service noted.

Sergei Aleinik and Robert Goodwill exchanged opinions on the social and economic situation in both countries. The British minister pointed to a remarkable progress in bilateral relations, which was demonstrated by a recent visit of Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Alan Duncan to Minsk.
