Belarus-Russia action movie Black Dog to premiere in 2018

MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) – A new Belarusian-Russian action movie Black Dog will be released in 2018, BelTA learned from Belarus’ national film studio Belarusfilm.

Black Dog is a four-episode film about fight against terrorism based on a novel by Nikolai Cherginets, scripted by Gleb Shprigov and directed by Alexander Franskevich-Laye. Black Dog is now at the editing stage. It will be released in theaters and on TV.

This is a story about an elite force officer, Major Andrei Rubtsov on a task to fight terrorism in the Middle East. When Andrei loses all comrades-in-arms in an uphill battle, there is only one task to complete: avenge the death of his comrades and destroy the kingpins of a powerful terrorist group that is trying to bring the world to the brink of nuclear war.

The movie is starring Vladimir Yepifantsev, Karina Razumovskaya, Anatoly Kot, Pavel Kharlanchuk, and Igor Sigov.

Black Dog is a joint project of Belarus’ national film studio Belarusfilm and the TV Production Center company.
