Belarus reports 834 new COVID-19 cases, 1,035 recoveries in past 24 hours

MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – Belarus confirmed 834 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours; another 1,035 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

The nationwide coronavirus tally now stands at 401,853 cases. A total of 394,272 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered in Belarus.

As many as 2,939 COVID-19 patients have died since the infection outbreak in Belarus.

All in all, Belarus performed 6,466,165 tests, including 18,612 tests in the past 24 hours.

More than 641,600 Belarusians have already received the first dose of the vaccine and over 345,500 have already got both shots.
