Belarus reports 764 new COVID-19 cases, 740 recoveries

MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – Belarus confirmed 764 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours; another 740 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

The nationwide coronavirus tally now stands at 409,385 cases. A total of 402,202 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered in Belarus.

As many as 3,025 COVID-19 patients have died since the infection outbreak in Belarus.

All in all, Belarus performed 6,610,898 tests, including 17,460 tests in the past 24 hours.

More than 747,500 Belarusians have already received the first dose of the vaccine and over 445,800 have already got both shots.
