Belarus’ pavilion at Astana Expo 2017 opens to publicASTANA, 12 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian pavilion at Astana Expo 2017 opened to public on 10 June, BelTA has learned.

The opening ceremony featured Belarusian folk songs and dances. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Anatoly Nichkasov and Deputy Chairman of Kazakhstan’s Majilis (lower house of the parliament) Vladimir Bozhko gave a welcome speech to the visitors of the pavilion.

Belarus’ pavilion at Astana Expo 2017 opens to publicAnatoly Nichkasov noted that Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov is expected to partake in the Day of Belarus at Astana Expo on 13 August. The Belarusian side plans to hold a forum with business community which is expected to result in important agreements. “We have also agreed that we will host a regular session of Belarus-Kazakhstan interparliamentary commission here in September. This event is aimed to summarize the results to be achieved over the next three months,” the ambassador added.
