Belarus-Moldova youth forum scheduled for spring 2019

Belarus-Moldova youth forum scheduled for spring 2019

MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – The first Belarus-Moldova youth forum will be held in spring 2019, BelTA learned from secretary of the BRSM Youth Union Central Committee Aleksandra Goncharova.

According to Aleksandra Goncharova, the decision was taken at the meeting with President of the National Youth League of Moldova Ion Curmei. “We discussed the key areas of cooperation between our organizations. At Moldova’s invitation, representatives of the Central Committee of the BRSM Youth Union will visit Moldova in late November-early December. It is expected that the parties will sign an agreement on cooperation between the youth organizations of the two coutnries. Ion Curmei also suggested holding the first youth forum of Belarus and Moldova in March-April 2019 to boost ties among students,” she said.

Belarus has resumed student cooperation with Moldova. This year a student farming team has been formed in Vitebsk Oblast. “Our students worked in Gagauzia, the south of Moldova. They cropped peaches, plums and grapes in the village of Copceac. I think such bilateral cooperation will be further developed next year,” Aleksandra Goncharova said.
