Belarus’ Fefilova wins Women’s World 10-Ball title

MINSK, 6 August (BelTA) – Belarusian player Margarita Fefilova Styer won the Banca del Fucino WPA Women’s 10-Ball World Championship in Rome, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Sports.

Pool-10 is one of the disciplines of American pool. Margarita Fefilova Styer remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, winning all seven of her matches. On her way to the final, she defeated opponents from Germany, Slovenia, and Austria. In the gold medal match, the Belarusian edged Chezka Centeno of the Philippines 3-2 to claim the world title. A total of 64 players competed in the championship.
