MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) Egor Gerasimov of Belarus has hit a new career high, entering the ATP Top 100 for the first time, BelTA has learned.

Last week, 26-year-old Egor Gerasimov was 119th. After reaching the semifinal in St Petersburg he climbed 21 spots up to place 98th with the total of 565 points.

The ATP Top Ten is as follows:

1. Novak Djokovic (Serbia) – 9,865 points,
2. Rafael Nadal (Spain) – 9,225,
3. Roger Federer (Switzerland) – 7,130,
4. Daniil Medvedev (Russia) – 5,305,
5. Dominic Thiem (Austria) – 4,415,
6. Alexander Zverev (Germany) – 4,095,
7. Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) – 3,420,
8. Kei Nishikori (Japan) – 3,330,
9. Karen Khacharov (Russia) – 2,810,
10. Roberto Bautista Agut (Spain) – 2,530.

The WTA Top Ten:

1. Ashleigh Barty (Australia) – 6,446 points
2. Carolina Pliskova (Czech Republic) – 6,125
3. Elina Svitolina (Ukraine) – 5,160
4. Naomi Osaka (Japan) – 5,011
5. Bianca Andreescu (Canada) – 4,835
6. Simona Halep (Romania) – 4,803
7. Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic) – 4,326
8. Kiki Bertens (Netherlands) – 4,225
9. Serena Williams (United States) – 3,935
10. Belinda Bencic (Switzerland) – 3,738.

Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka moved one position down to 14th with 2,785 points. Victoria Azarenka goes 47th (1,116), Aleksandra Sasnovich is 51st (1,071).
