MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Belarusian tennis player Daria Khomutsianskaya has won the ITF tournament in Tashkent, BelTA has learned.
In today’s final in the capital of Uzbekistan, Belarusian tennis player defeated Russia’s Daria Egorova in a three-set match, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2. Her path to the title included victories over India’s Vaidehee Chaudhari, Lithuania’s Laima Vladson, and Russians Sofiia Suslova and Ekaterina Tupitsyna. This marks the fifth ITF tournament win this season for the 21-year-old from Minsk.
In a concurrent men’s final in Qian Daohu 2025 Tennis Tournament in China, Belarusian tennis player Mikalai Haliak fell to Uzbekistan’s Sergey Fomin, 2-6, 1-6. En route to the final, Mikalai Haliak had secured wins against China’s Yecong Mo and Fanming Meng, as well as Australia’s Akira Santillan and Japan’s Tomohiro Masabayashi.
