MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – The second stage of the Top Gymnasts Cup international rhythmic gymnastics tournament featuring Belarusian athletes has concluded in Moscow, BelTA has learned.
Belarusian athletes secured a total of ten bronze medals. The tournament concluded on 16 May with the individual event finals. Among seniors, Belarus’ Hanna Kamenshchykava finished third in the hoop, ball, and ribbon routines, while Nika Kostsina took bronze with the clubs. In the junior category, Kseniya Yeudakimava won three bronzes, with Vera Konopatskaya adding another one. Previously, Kamenshchykava and Yeudakimava had both finished third in the all-around competition.
Belarus’ Ksenia Perepelitsa and Alina Rechkina also competed in the event’s finals. The tournament in Moscow also featured gymnasts from Russia, Armenia, Argentina, and Kyrgyzstan. From the first stage of the Top Gymnasts Cup, held in Kazan in April, Belarusian gymnasts brought home one silver and eight bronze medals, with Nicole Liauta (seniors) and Vera Konopatskaya (juniors) making the podium.
