MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus will show its ballet Anastasia in the Royal Opera House of Oman in 2020, director general of the theater Vladimir Gridyushko said during an online press conference hosted by BelTA.

“Not so long ago we hosted the director of the Royal Opera House of Oman. Just the other day, he sent us an invitation to tour Oman with the ballet Anastasia in early Ocotber 2020,” said Vladimir Gridyushko.

According to him, the theater goes on tour to traditional destinations and is exploring new ones. “On 14 December the ballet company will go to Germany and Austria. Our symphony orchestra will set off on tour around Germany, Austria and Switzerland in December. Then the orchestra will embark on a month-long tour across 12 European countries. In March-April 2019 the ballet company will travel to Mexico,” the director general said.

Belarus’ Bolshoi Theater has loyal audiences in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Italy, Spain, China, France, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland. Every show of the theater receives full attendance.
