Belarus’ Arutiunian reaches Challenger Sioux Falls main draw

MINSK, 21 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number 547 Erik Arutiunian has advanced to the main draw of the ATP Challenger 100 tournament in Sioux Falls, USA, BelTA has learned.

In the final qualifying round Erik Arutiunian faced Canada's world number 516 Nicolas Arseneault to defeat the opponent 6-4, 6-2. The match lasted for one hour and 11 minutes.

In the first qualifying round Erik Arutiunian secured a confident straight-set victory, 6-1, 6-3, over Argentina's Dante Teramo.

The tournament in Sioux Falls will be over on 26 October.
