Belarus 7th in women’s relay in Antholz
MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian team of Nadezhda Skardino, Anna Sola, Darya Yurkevich and Irina Krivko finished 7th in the women’s relay of the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 6 in Antholz, BelTA informs.
The Belarusian biathletes covered the distance in 1:09:24.6, with no penalties and five spare rounds.
The French team of Justine Braisaz, Anais Bescond, Anais Chevalier and Marie Dorin Habert won the women's relay with eight spare rounds in 1:07:53.5. The Czech Republic finished second with two penalties and seven spares, 17.2 seconds back. Third went to Russia with ten spares, 21.1 seconds back.
Belarus goes ninth in the IBU World Cup standings with 3246 points. Germany tops the standings with 4204. Second is the Czech Republic (3971), with Italy going third (3908).
