Applications open for Listapad 2018 Industry Days

MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – Applications are open for the Industry Days of the Minsk International Film Festival Listapad 2018, BelTA learned from the organizers of the forum.

This is the fourth series of projects of the Industry Days Bel:Cinema. The event provides filmmakers with the opportunity to learn skills in developing and promoting films from specialists of the international cinema market, representatives of the European important festivals and industries.

Industry Days of MIFF “Listapad” Bel: Cinema was opened in 2015 to create conditions for communication of cinema professionals, exchange experience, develop ways of interaction between filmmakers and producers. Industry days, the world cinematography practice, serve as a source of new projects and cooperation.

Events of the Industry Days Bel: Cinema will take place on 3-8 November.

As in 2017 the Industry Days Bel:Cinema Film will see a pitch session of film projects before the jury composed of film industry professionals. Applications for participation in the pitch session will be open till 15 October, for the participation in the VR Laboratory till 20 October. The full schedule of events will be published in October.

The 25th edition of the Minsk International Film Festival Listapad will be held on 2-9 November under the slogan Getting to Know the Big, Wide World and will be dedicated to famous director Kira Muratova.

The founders of the festival are the Culture Ministry of Belarus and the Minsk City Hall. The festival is organized by the ART Corporation center of visual and performing arts. The general partner is Shchodraya Mastercard. Official partners include Kinovideoprokat of the Minsk City Hall, Falcon Club Cinema Boutique, Belavia national air carrier and Beltelecom. ByCard will be an official ticket operator. The festival is supported by the Belarusian TV and Radio Company, the National Film Studio Belarusfilm and the Forte advertising agency.
