MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Some 25,000 healthcare workers are involved in the fight against COVID-19 in Belarus. Thanks to their well-organized and efficient work, the spread of the infection in the country is under control, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

More than 7,000 hospital beds are available for coronavirus patients.

As of 8 April, around 46,000 coronavirus tests were carried out in Belarus. Thirteen laboratories are involved in testing.
