To inspire you to take the trip, we offer you a selection of wonderful photos of Grodno in the winter time.

Grodno region is one of the most popular destinations for active recreation and recuperation. Visitors from different countries have already appreciated local medical centers and health centers. Tourists come here for new experience, like a tour of ancient Grodno that will turn 891 in 2019, a leisurely stroll through the streets of its Old Town, acquaintance with the shrines of different religions or a voyage along the Neman River to see the city the seat of kings. Grodno has something to offer to everyone.

If you look for scenic views and active recreation, you can go to the Augustow Canal, which is one of the largest artificial waterways in Europe. Its total length is about 102km. It is a unique hydraulic structure of the 19th century built to connect eleven rivers (35km) and seven lakes (22km). There are five locks, two dams and four shipping locks Nemnovo, Dombrovka, Volkushek and Kuzhinets.

You can complete the trip in one of the eco-friendliest places in Belarus Grodno Pushcha reserve. It covers 20,903 hectares, most of which (93.5%) are pine forests and is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including 224 animal species, of which 37 are rare and endangered. In winter, when the forest is covered with snow, you can observe its inhabitants in natural habitat and even spot red deer or European fallow deer having breakfast.
