A special task medical unit operates in the Borisovsky exercise area

A special task medical unit operated in the Borisovsky exercise area in the course of the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2017. The medics had to provide medical aid to military personnel in need, had to practice how medical specialists should work at a time of war, for instance, when they have to deal with massive casualties. An admission department, an intensive care department, and a surgery department were deployed in the rear of the Zapad 2017 exercise.
