The charity organization Help Chernobyl Children in Italy’s Parma, which has hosted children from the Chernobyl-affected regions of Gomel Oblast for recuperation since 1987, has been extensively celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident.

A photo exhibition of the BelTA News Agency has been organized in Parma. The exhibition was prepared by BelTA photo correspondent Sergei Kholodilin. Nearly 60 black-and-white and color photos tell the story about the gradual recovery and revival of life on the Belarusian territories contaminated after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
