Independence Day in Brest

A meeting in honor of the Belarus Independence Day was held in the Brest Hero Fortress memorial on 3 July. The meeting brought together war veterans, top-ranking officials of Brest Oblast and the city of Brest, representatives of the diplomatic missions and religious communities, Brest and guests of the city. The meeting participants observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers and laid wreaths and flowers at the Eternal Flame.
