A sculptural composition with a bust of Yanka Kupala was unveiled in the village of Kopys, Orsha District on 1 July. This is the place where the poet used to live. The composition depicts a bronze statue of the famous poet on a granite pedestal. Near the bust there are two storks flying off a gray slab. This work by Chinese sculptor Wu Weishan is a gift from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Belarus, whose representatives visited the Yanka Kupala momorial reserve in Levki and were impressed by the life and works of the poet.
