War veteran Vladimir Borodin

Vladimir Borodin was drafted into the Red Army in August 1942. After graduating from an artillery school, he took part in the battles to liberate Odessa, Warsaw, Poznan, and the Berlin Operation.

He was awarded three Orders of the Patriotic War Second Class, the Order of the Red Star, medals "For the Liberation of Warsaw" and "For the Capture of Berlin".
