Defense Minister extends Victory Day greetings to Hero of the Soviet Union Vasily Michurin

Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin came to visit retired Colonel Vasily Michurin, 103, to express gratitude for his courage at the time of war and his contribution to the commemoration of the national heroism and patriotic education of youth in peacetime. The defense minister presented the war veteran with a jubilee medal, a valuable gift, flowers and the portrait of the hero made by Honored Art Worker of Belarus Nikolai Opiok. The orchestra of the Military Academy of Belarus and the Song and Dance Company of the Armed Forces performed under the windows of Vasily Michurin.
