The opening ceremony of the Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum was held on 8 October. Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich and Belarusian First Deputy Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Minister Iya Malkina kicked off the event. The forum is focused on sustainable development in energy, ecology, energy efficiency, science and innovation, prospects for the development of nuclear energy, smart energy for manufacturing industries, residential buildings and cities.

The Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum includes a number of specialized projects. Among them are such international exhibitions as Energy. Ecology. Energy conservation.
