Kolyady in Mogilev District

Mogilev District welcomes guests for the Kolyady festival not only from different corners of Belarus but also from abroad. People gather at the Seraya Sheyka farmstead to celebrate the holiday and reconnect with the ancient traditions. During the New Year holidays, the farmstead hosted about 25 tourist groups (around 300 people) and more than 2,000 guests over the course of the year. The holidays celebrated in Polykovichi are filled with warmth and coziness; guests are attracted by Belarusian cuisine (draniki, blood sausage, homemade sausage and salo) and folklore: songs, rituals, and master classes. A separate program is prepared for each event.
