Monument to fallen countrymen unveiled in Brest district

A ceremony to unveil the monument to the villagers who died during the Great Patriotic War was held in the village of Priborovo, Brest District.

Previously, the village had a monument to the fellow villagers but it required major repairs. The local authorities decided, taking into account the opinion of the locals, to build a new memorial. Its pedestal features the plates with the names of 68 villagers who died during the Great Patriotic War.
