Ivanovo hands over the Belarusian Written Language Day baton

The official ceremony of passing the baton of the Belarusian Written Language Day celebrations to Slonim, Grodno Oblast, took place in Ivanovo on 3 September. Chairman of the Ivanovo District Executive Committee Yuri Bisun gave his Slonim counterpart Gennady Khomich a challenge trophy in the form of a book box which keeps ancient emblems of all the Belarusian Written Language Day host cities and the document on the transfer of the rights to host the 26^th edition of the festival.
