Exhibition of Orthodox icons marks Brest's 1000th anniversary

An exhibition of Orthodox icons kicked off at the subsidiary of the Brest Oblast Local History Museum on 18 July. The new exposition has been prepared jointly with the Brest Eparchy and is making part of a series of exhibitions celebrating the anniversary of the Belarusian city. On display are over 150 Orthodox icons of the 18th-first half of the 19th centuries. The majority of them have been put on show for the first time.
