Exhibition about Belarusian money in Minsk

The exhibition Belarusian Ruble. Quarter-Century History has opened in the Modern Belarusian Statehood Museum in Minsk on 1 October.

The exhibition features documents and items illustrating the development of the Belarusian money system: photocopies depicting elements of the National Bank banknotes of the year 1992, printed banknote designs, including discarded ones, banknotes of various years and commemorative banknotes of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.

A separate exposition showcases the process of issuing commemorative and anniversary coins: drafts, gypsum models, and original instruments, which demonstrates the difficult process of developing and issuing coins.
