Old Castle of Grodno in October

Old Castle of Grodno in October
13 Oct 2022

Autumn landscapes as if created by an artist's brush with an endless palette of shades and halftones, brooding morning fogs and ‘flaming’ sunsets before dusk, light sadness over summer warmth  and anticipation of imminent winter frosts... Belarusian autumn knows how to surprise, delight and inspire if you are willing to see and appreciate the abundance of changes in nature that are possible only in our latitudes.

Since the beginning of September, autumn has brought rains to Belarus, a sharp cooling during the day and even night frosts. Such temperature differences were noticeable against the background of a record hot August with its average +20.8°C, which was 2.8°C higher than the climatic norm. The first month of the season was cooler by 1-2°C. October brought a pleasant warmth and the long-awaited Indian summer, a time for beautiful autumn photo shoots, cozy walks and contemplation of the most impressive metamorphoses of nature.
