VILEIKA, 7 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will make a working trip to Vileika District, Minsk Oblast, BelTA has learned.
One of the topics of the president’s working trip is the development of BelOMO Holding Company. In Vileika, the head of state will tour Zenit-BelOMO. The enterprise manufactures optical products for civilian and dual-use purposes, pneumatic brake actuators, automotive components for mining dump trucks, and medical weighing equipment.








Last year, the company completed a project to set up production of innovative sighting devices and automotive components for the needs of Belarus and countries near and far abroad. In 2026, the enterprise launched a new investment project focused on manufacturing brake system components for heavy-duty trucks, with funding totaling Br7.6 million. At Zenit-BelOMO, the president will receive a detailed briefing on the progress in the project and will see product samples.
In addition, the head of state will focus on rural trade and ensuring that the population has access to a wide assortment of goods. In Vileyka, Aleksandr Lukashenko will hold a meeting on this topic and review samples of mobile trade pavilions and shops-on-wheels from various retail chains.
